Technical info (for those folks who like to know about equiptment & techniques ext)
(I have a minimum of two of all camera gear, identical models of bodies, lenses, flash, lightmeter, studio lights ext so if ever any equipment fails I can immediately pick up an identical replacement to continue on)
I use Canon 5D bodies & “L” series Canon lenses (canon’s best lenses)
Prolite studio lights
I Shoot only in RAW format for maximum file information & the ability to adjust files for colour balance, desity ext in a lossless format prior to converting to a high resolution jpeg when all adjustments have been finalised.
I use a whibal card for extreme colour fidelity during the photoshoot to ensure postproduction colour balance is extremely accurate. (brides maids dresses & bouquetes ext. are true color)
Eizo monitors (industry best monitors available for colour fidelity) are used for colour balancing & ICC profiled for colour accuracy using a Gretag Mcbeth eyeone Monitor calibration unit.
I design all the albums individually enabling full advantage to be taken in freedom to design whatever looks best with the images available rather than using digital drop & drag templates.
